According to Osho, although the Gita is complete, we cannot truly hear it: our inner thinking distorts, and words grow old as minds and ages change. Commentary repeatedly hammers the message, liberating its timeless meaning from outdated language and reclothing it in living words suited to contemporary ears—shifting from faith-based to doubt-shaped minds—so the eternal truth can be freshly understood and actually enter us.
Because we don’t really listen and old words stop working, commentaries restate the Gita in fresh language that today’s minds can hear.
