According to Osho, human relationships are largely built as escapes from a misunderstood inner state—loneliness—while our true nature is radiant aloneness. When we fear being alone, we use partners, families, and crowds to fill a felt gap, so connection becomes dependency, conflict, and avoidance, not love. Only by recognizing the beauty of aloneness can relationships cease to be neurotic crutches and become authentic.
If you think being alone is bad, you cling to people and spoil love; if you enjoy aloneness, you don’t need to use anyone.
