According to Osho, devotion becomes most fitting now because the age has overreached in intellect: tension, disillusionment, and unkept promises of reason naturally swing us toward the heart. By a law of extremes, when mind hits its peak, feeling awakens without borrowed beliefs; devotion arises as a spontaneous descent from strain to play, from head to heart, as deep as our prior climb into thinking.
When thinking has worn us out and proved empty, our heart opens by itself—so devotion doesn’t need blind faith, just the failure of intellect.
