According to Osho, freedom turns into selfishness the moment it becomes a mere reaction—'freedom from'—driven by ego and opposition. Such negative freedom lacks understanding and soon creates new bondage. True freedom (moksha) is positive and heartful: not against anyone, but arising from awareness, love and responsibility. When freedom includes compassion, it liberates you without enslaving others; without it, it’s disguised self-interest.
If your 'freedom' is just fighting or running away to prove your ego, it's selfish; if it comes from calm understanding and care for others, it's real freedom.
