According to Osho, when desire is gone, freedom remains but the urge to reenter suffering disappears. Like a child who once burned his hand on a flame, the liberated cannot wish again for what experience has revealed as pointless. No power restrains him; deep understanding does. Worldly pursuits lose meaning, so craving cannot arise.
After you learn fire burns, you just don’t touch it; a liberated person has no wish left to chase painful desires.
