According to Osho, old memories are valuable only when consciously awakened as part of sadhana; through (self-)hypnosis they can surface to illuminate patterns, release conditioning, and support inner transformation. Treated outside a spiritual context—especially for manipulation or curiosity—they become risky and harmful. Therefore, approach memory-regression ethically, inwardly guided, and as a tool, not a destination.
Old memories help you grow when brought up carefully for spiritual practice, but used carelessly they can harm you and others.
