According to Osho, the disciple is a keen, attentive learner of methods, but the devotee moves by love and surrender; even a ‘lousy’ devotee is higher than the most careful disciple because love is fire that burns away lousiness and nonessentials by itself. As devotion deepens, shortcomings vanish; awareness of them simply shows transformation has begun.
Learning helps, but loving and trusting burns your bad habits away faster.
