According to Osho, the basic message of “self-love” is misguided, because “self” and ego are the same fiction. Clinging to “love thyself” only strengthens the achiever and its goals. Echoing Buddha, he says there is no self to love; the real transformation is to melt and dissolve into existence—dropping egoic striving to discover the silent, empty suchness beyond “I.”
There isn’t a little “me” to pamper—relax the idea of “me” and let life flow by itself.
