Indra's 'appointment' of a guardian is a mythic symbol: when one stands alone, even gods long to help. Yet the authentic seeker must decline every support, because accepting exposes a hidden craving for company and derails inner freedom.
Even if a god offers help, it only shows that support appears when you truly stand alone—still, you must not take it, because this journey has to be done by yourself.
