Life’s events—good and bad—are maya; only the witnessing consciousness is real. When awareness sees the seer as real and the seen as dream, karma dissolves instantly—no retrogressive processes required—just as fear ends when a "snake" is seen as a moving newspaper in the light.
Karma only sticks because you think the dream is real; when you wake up and know you’re the watcher, it can’t touch you.
