According to Osho, egolessness neither seeks nor measures success; ambition and the urge to be first belong to the ego. The egoless person drops the game of comparison, finds an inner treasure where defeat is impossible, and remains joyful whether last or first. Paradoxically, such non-seeking may flower into effortless outer success, yet its true victory is serenity and freedom.
You can stop trying to beat others, feel happy inside, and sometimes success still comes—only now you don’t depend on it.
