Is it possible to give birth to a Buddha?

According to Osho, you cannot will a Buddha into birth; the very desire is ego and becomes the barrier. First awaken yourself—become meditative, silent, loving, desireless—creating a ‘holy womb’ harmonious with a higher soul. Then, if existence wills, a Buddha may be born; if not, that too is perfect. Even bearing a Buddha won’t liberate you—self-realization is the only freedom.

You can’t plan a Buddha; let go of the wish, become peaceful and loving yourself, and if life decides, it may happen.
