According to Osho, there were no “first” Buddhas—time is beginningless, so enlightened ones have arisen without a starting point and will continue without an end. Asking for the first is meaningless, like seeking the first human. Innumerable Buddhas discovered their own ways within an infinite continuum; we are all interconnected in this timeless flowering of awakening.
There was never a first Buddha—wise, awakened people have always been here, just like there’s no first parent because every child has parents.
