Does a Buddha ever get bored?

A Buddha cannot be bored, for in the absence of ego, each moment is a fresh discovery, revealing the endless newness of life.

— Osho
According to Osho, a Buddha cannot be bored. Having dropped the past, his consciousness is riverlike—fresh each moment—so nothing feels repetitive. He meets whatever arises, even anger, with discovery and joy because there’s no ego to react or accumulate. Only ego gets bored; when there is no ‘someone’ to be bored, life reveals newness everywhere and accounts are closed each moment.

When you let go of the past and ego and stay fresh right now, boredom can’t catch you because everything feels new.
