According to Osho, Wilhelm Reich was limited because his grasp of life-energy remained merely conceptual: a thinker groping in the dark, not a meditator with eyes. Lacking inner practice, he couldn’t transform sexual energy into playfulness, prayerfulness, or sustained orgasmic presence. This produced hypocrisy (jealousy, possessiveness), dictatorial fanaticism, and psychological imbalance. Without meditative grounding, his experiments with sex-energy became dangerous, culminating in confusion and breakdown rather than awakening.
He only thought about life-energy without meditating, so he couldn’t live it, became jealous and controlling, and ended up confused instead of awakened.
