Has a disciple only proved himself worthy when he has gone beyond discipleship?

True worthiness arises not from the desire to transcend discipleship, but from the deep realization of one's own being, where all relationships naturally dissolve in the light of isness.

— Osho
According to Osho, worthiness isn’t proven by trying to transcend discipleship. A true disciple is one who is so rooted in his own being that the urge to ‘go beyond’ disappears. In that depth of isness, all relationships—including discipleship—fall away on their own. Transcendence arrives as an unforced reward, not as a goal or achievement; seeking it becomes the hindrance.

Don’t try to outgrow being a student; be so fully yourself that “graduation” happens by itself.
