According to Osho, women often show stronger catharsis in meditation because society hasn’t conditioned them to suppress tears and emotions as men have. Catharsis is a natural safety valve; women let it flow, so release and cleansing come more easily. Men, trained to be manly and hold in feelings, harden themselves; repression blocks release and accumulates tension.
Women are allowed to cry and let feelings out, so meditation frees more emotion; men are taught to hold back, so it’s harder to release.
