According to Osho, communication is a total phenomenon: words, gestures, silence, movement and stillness all speak. The master transmits through presence as much as through speech, so the disciple must grow in alertness to decipher and decode the nonverbal. By listening with the whole being—not just the ears—one receives the essence that language alone cannot carry.
Even when no words are spoken, a person’s silence and gestures are saying something—so pay full attention to everything, not just the words.
