According to Osho, organized religion largely functions as a fear-management system: it exploits humanity’s fear of death by glorifying crucifixion, resurrection, and miracles, offering consolations instead of transformation. Such “Crossianity” worships symbols, not life or authentic teaching. A truly cultured society should question claims openly and value inner growth, not punish inquiry or cling to comforting fictions.
Religion often tells comforting stories because we fear death, but real spirituality means facing fear, growing inside, and asking questions.
