According to Osho, a guru is not the 'rich man’s' guide in terms of money, but of richness of being—sensitivity, creativity, receptivity. Wealth creation is a legitimate, even artistic, dimension, yet lower than music, poetry, or philosophy. Spiritual guidance becomes meaningful only after basic bodily and psychological needs are met; then the guru speaks to those capable of refined understanding.
A true guru helps people who’ve met their basic needs and grown some inner sensitivity; money can be good and creative, but it’s not the highest richness.
