According to Osho, disciples exist so the Master’s catalytic presence—not any doing—can work; like the sun awakening flowers, the Master’s mere being triggers transformation when the disciple allows, surrenders, and becomes receptive. “Having disciples” simply means a field where this alchemical, ego-dissolving shift can happen; gratitude arises, yet no one has truly “done” anything.
A real teacher is like the sun—if you relax and open near them, you change by yourself.
