Longing turns inward toward what is intrinsic—your nature, awareness, God—so it is existential, self-flowering, and fulfilling. Redirect energy from desiring money, power, or knowledge to longing for meditation, purity, and awakening; longing needs only the right soil and time.
Desire chases outside things you don’t have, while longing grows the truth already inside you.
