According to Osho, a model commune is a communion of free spirits replacing family, marriage, property and ambition with love, shared responsibility and creative freedom. Children belong to the commune, love is the only law between partners, and no possessiveness or private property exists. It offers equal opportunity (not enforced equality) to unfold each person’s uniqueness, with absolute freedom of expression and a non-competitive, celebrative way of life.
It’s a loving shared community with no marriages or private property where everyone helps raise children and each person is free to grow uniquely.
