According to Osho, the very effort to fight or destroy the ego becomes its food, because the ego lives on conflict and trouble. Simply stop nourishing it—become aware, put it aside—and it starves and drops. Without ego, others’ opinions lose power, and you discover an inner silence, freedom, and spaciousness: heaven, love, peace, and your own vastness.
If you fight your ego, it grows; stop feeding it with reactions, and it fades, leaving you peaceful and free.
