According to Osho, after death the soul—without body or senses—passes through a dreamlike interval before the next birth. Experiences there (heavens, hells, ecstasies, torments) feel even more real than waking life because doubt is absent, yet they lack sensory grounding and are insubstantial. Like dreams, they dissolve and are mostly forgotten upon taking a new body.
