According to Osho, in a spiritual circle the one who is truly last—the disciple without any urge to be first, who waits silently with total acceptance (tathata)—becomes first. Because truth is non-competitive and boundless, such egoless readiness makes one dearest to the Master and ripe for grace. Mere outward lastness without inner surrender changes nothing.
If you truly stop trying to be important and wait quietly, you receive the most from the teacher.
