According to Osho, the witness is both: an absence and a presence. As identification with body-mind, thoughts and feelings falls away, a no-mind emptiness appears. In that openness your intrinsic potential flowers as a vibrant, radiant presence. Meditation creates the emptiness; in the same breath it allows being to blossom. Thus witnessing is empty of personality yet full of living awareness.
First you let go of all your thoughts and roles, and in that clean, quiet space a warm, clear aliveness naturally shines—that’s the witness.
