According to Osho, thinking you can reach the divine without renunciation is self-deception: you want God “for free.” Religion is the costliest thing—you must stake your whole life. The proof of longing is what you are willing to do and give. If you won’t lose yourself, your thirst is still a wish, not a fire.
If you say you want God but won’t give up anything for it, you’re fooling yourself.
