According to Osho, “moral character” as society defines it is a borrowed code, a strategy to dominate the individual. Because moralities vary by culture, they are inventions, not truth. Imposed virtue is like remote-control brainwashing: it breeds slavery, not religion. Real right and wrong must arise from your own awareness and understanding, not external conditioning.
Rules others make you follow aren’t real goodness; real goodness comes when you yourself see what’s right through awareness.
