According to Osho, morality itself isn’t bad; what’s harmful is the ego-made illusion of morality—hypocritical, effortful virtue that masks inner conflict. True morality is a spontaneous fragrance of inner joy, harmony, and meditation; like flowers on a tree, it arises naturally when the seeds of awareness are sown, not through willpower, role-playing, or repression.
Being good isn’t bad; pretending to be good is—be peaceful inside through awareness, and kindness will happen by itself.
