According to Osho, the ego's last trick is to whisper 'you have attained.' Avoid it by remaining very alert and testing claims against one criterion: in real awakening there is no sense of attainment, no 'I' to boast - only silent, simple being. If anger, jealousy, possessiveness or superiority persist, it's ego. Distrust inner triumphalism; continue awareness, humility, and practice.
If a voice inside says you’ve become a Buddha, don’t buy it; true awakening feels like quiet nobody-ness, so keep watching and stay humble.
