According to Osho, thought and understanding have only a negative, provisional use on the path: like a thorn removing a thorn or poison curing poison, they can expose their own futility and cut through other thoughts. But no one reaches truth through thinking. Realization flowers in thought-free awareness—a bare, rippleless mirror—once all borrowed ideas, including his, are discarded.
Use thinking only to notice it’s in the way; then drop all thoughts—truth shows up when the mind is still.
