According to Osho, samadhi cannot be partial; it is a total plunge into being. What can occur are preliminary mental glimpses—from the peak states of body or mind: vibrant health, deep love, creativity, music, or nature. These distant sightings are authentic as previews yet not the spiritual realization itself. A teacher can lift you to glimpse, but only your own inner dive fulfills samadhi.
You can peek at the ocean from a hill, but swimming in it is different—samadhi is the swim; glimpses are just peeks.
