What is the attainment of samadhi and which body does it pertain to?

Samadhi is not confined to a single body; it is the twilight between the subtle bodies, revealing the profound journey from self-realization to the ultimate nirvana.

— Osho
According to Osho, samadhi is a “twilight” occurring between subtle bodies, not within any single body. Three authentic samadhis exist: between the fourth and fifth (bringing self-realization/atma-jnana), between the fifth and sixth (God-realization/brahma-jnana), and between the sixth and seventh (nirvana). A fourth, false samadhi arises inside the fourth (psychic) body—peak absorption via art, trance, drugs, or hypnosis.

Real samadhi is like standing in the doorway between inner rooms, revealing self, God, or final freedom; the wow-feelings inside one room are only look-alikes.
