According to Osho, yes and no: yes, because buddhahood isn’t anyone’s private property—if you can sleep, you can also awaken; no, because you cannot be Gautama the Buddha, only your own unique buddha. Existence never repeats. Drop imitation and become original; don’t be a Buddhist, be a buddha. Real liberation is awakening as your irreproducible self, not acting a saint’s role.
You can wake up and be wise like Buddha, but not as a copy of Gautama—be your own one-of-a-kind buddha.
