Are fools and Buddhas the same in essence?

According to Osho, fools and Buddhas aren’t identical; they’re two phases of the same being’s growth. The fool is your present confusion—the buddha-to-be in disarray; the Buddha is that same energy integrated, centered, harmonious. Both coexist in you: periphery/past as fool, center/future as buddha. Nothing is lacking; only a re-arrangement and awareness are needed for chaos to become cosmos.

You already have everything; when your inner noise gets arranged into harmony, the fool in you becomes a Buddha.
