According to Osho, there will not be a 'twenty-fifth' Tirthankara to finish Mahavira’s work, because Mahavira has no personal work to complete. The only 'work' is the timeless struggle between ignorance and awareness within each of us. Tirthankaras awaken and point the way; the ongoing task belongs to seekers, not to enlightened ones.
Enlightened ones have nothing left to do; the real job is ours—to wake up.
