According to Osho, knowledge is criticized because it is second-hand, ego-inflating and deceptive: it covers your basic not-knowing, breeds cunningness and distracts you with words, blocking real self-knowing. Ignorance isn't condemned because it is honest, innocent, and truly yours; seen meditatively, it becomes wisdom. Admitting "I don't know," like Socrates, is the first step from pure ignorance to liberating wisdom.
Facts can puff you up, but honestly seeing you don’t know keeps you open so real understanding can grow.
