According to Osho, we cling to the old because it is familiar, efficient, and can be done mechanically without awareness; the new exposes our ignorance, demands alertness, and risks mistakes, so fear arises. But living by the old is lifeless; life is in the ever-new. Remain a learner, open, childlike; discard accumulated knowing each moment, and you live abundantly.
We stick to old ways because they feel easy and safe, but real life and growth come from bravely staying open to new things like a curious child.
