According to Osho, Mahavir and Buddha never met because at the ultimate peak of realization, masters become incomparable 'peaks'—their inner meeting is intrinsically impossible, so any outer meeting would be meaningless. Though rooted in the same ground of truth, their expressions diverge uniquely; therefore there was neither refusal nor need to meet—unity exists below, individuality at the summit.
Like two mountain tops on the same earth, they’re too high and separate to touch; what matters is their shared ground, not standing side by side.
