According to Osho, no special quality makes a person worthy of compassion—worthiness is irrelevant. Once one knows oneself, compassion becomes one’s very nature, and existence itself overflows compassion without discrimination because everything belongs to it. Therefore, compassion is not a reaction to merit but a spontaneous seeing that all beings are extensions of the same existence.
Everyone deserves kindness because we’re all part of the same life, and real compassion doesn’t pick and choose.
