According to Osho, 'Sangham Sharanam Gacchami' means taking refuge in the Sangha—the living community of seekers and the awakened—and is the second of Buddha’s Three Jewels, a device to help meditators surrender the ego. After first recognizing Buddhahood in one master, refuge in the Sangha expands that vision to many, training you to bow wherever awakening shines and preparing you for refuge in Truth itself.
