What is the relationship between nonduality and the freedom of man?

You are not free; you are freedom itself, and in realizing your oneness with the Whole, the illusion of dependence dissolves.

— Osho
According to Osho, nonduality means there is no separation between man and the Whole; thus 'freedom' versus 'dependence' are empty opposites. God is not free—God is freedom; likewise, man is not free but freedom itself. When oneness is realized, the debate about fate and free will disappears; this intrinsic liberatedness (moksha) is our very nature, not a gift or achievement.

When you stop seeing yourself as separate from everything, there’s no one left to be controlled or to break free—your very being is already free.
