What was split off resurfaces in consciousness, energy is freed, and natural forces like anger or sex become available, intelligent, and creative rather than neurotic. Awareness heals the division, ending the ostrich-like blindness that breeds anxiety and compulsion.
When you simply watch your urges without judging them, they stop being a problem and become helpful energy.
