According to Osho, when thoughts surge in meditation it’s simply the ancient, immensely efficient mind reclaiming the driver’s seat. Brief silence arises near a master, but away from that field the mind resumes command. Until meditation deepens into centering—realization, enlightenment—the mind will carry you. The remedy is to grow no-mind within, then use mind only deliberately.
Your mind is a very old, busy machine; until you find a deeper stillness, it will keep making noise—especially when you’re on your own.
