According to Osho, when you share spiritual realization with loved ones, their egos—shaped by knowing you in your former suffering—feel threatened. They cannot accept that you’ve gone ahead, so they oppose you, belittle your change, provoke you to anger, and try to pull you back, preferring your weaknesses that keep you under their control. Thus, the closest ties become the greatest obstacles.
If you tell family you’ve grown inside, their pride may feel hurt and they might try to prove you haven’t changed.
