According to Osho, tears in meditation or prayer are an auspicious sign: the first fine drizzle announcing chitta-bhanjan, when the mind’s shell cracks and what is beyond the mind begins to descend. Do not resist; flow with them. Tears are more prayerful than words, expressing feeling’s depth, and they cleanse not only the outer eyes but also reopen and purify the inner eye.
Crying during meditation or prayer means your heart is opening and gently washing your vision inside and out—so let the tears flow.
