According to Osho, without real compassion the poor, sick, orphans and starving are exploited as props for religious power - not healed. Palliative service replaces prevention, misery is maintained to fuel conversions and guilt, and freedom is violated. True compassion ends the causes: stop creating orphans (birth control), respect consent, and make perpetrators assume responsibility, rather than glorifying charity that depends on ongoing suffering.
Without real kindness, people in need get used for agendas and their suffering keeps being produced instead of prevented.
