According to Osho, if total consciousness isn’t realized now, death arrives in unconsciousness; only crystallized realizations—not passing glimpses—travel with you consciously into another life. Mere flashes fade into a faint, unconscious echo, so you mostly start again. But if an experience becomes your very being, you’ll resume from where you left off, with certainty rather than doubt.
If you don’t fully wake up, you forget most of it; only what truly became part of you comes with you next time.
