According to Osho, when the mentality of working only to earn bread prevails, life shrinks to mere survival; creativity, beauty, and inner richness wither. Society makes hammers and spades, not tanpooras or Taj Mahals. Even if material poverty eases, spiritual poverty deepens. Only when work is turned into celebration does both external abundance and internal joy blossom, transforming the whole milieu.
If everyone only works to survive, life gets dull and we stop creating beauty; joy comes when work feels like play.
